Welcome to New Duston Garage, a family run independent garage established in 1960 by Don Brown, now run by his son, Richard Brown. We are a Fleet Support Group Vantage Supplier, and part of the Bosch Car Service network.
Our business has grown throughout the years and has seen many changes, although the same customer focused ethos has been ever present at its core.
New Duston Garage is situated on the main A428 on the west side of Northampton. Its modern premises are close to the M1 motorway and 5 minutes from the town centre. We offer a collection and delivery service for customers cars (within a 10 mile radius) and run a small fleet of new courtesy cars.
Image plays a large part in a customer's perception and confidence in a business. Our modern, well equipped and tidy workshop, together with corporate work wear and signage all play their part, and also give the right working environment for staff to always do their best. Our workshops are the envy of our peers and many main dealers.
Our workshop comprises of 6 working bays with lifts, 3 of which are of in-floor design to maximize space. Equipment is maintained and calibrated religiously as part of the quality control scheme we operate. Being part of the Bosch Car Service Network it goes without saying that the very latest diagnostic equipment is used in conjunction with a training programme that has no peers within the industry. All of the workshop staff are working at levels within this programme which culminates with a final Bosch Master Technician examination. One of our Director's James Peck, who runs the workshop, has recently been one of the first in the UK to gain this level after completing all 12 courses and a 2 day examination.
We have associations with most leasing and fleet companies but our strongest relationship is with Fleet Support Group. This association includes the powerful RVV system - a remote visual system which enables controllers at Fleet Support to view in live time components, vehicle damage and abuse and safety related items. This system can give essential information and evidence direct to the Fleet Manager.
Our services include servicing vehicles, MOT testing, air conditioning, 4 wheel alignment and geometry, repairs and of course vehicle diagnostics and electrical work. We offer an all makes service including light commercials.
We feel our commitment to Bosch and Fleet Support Group and continued investment in equipment and staff training stands us in good stead for the future and the technology it brings.
Environmental issues have really come to the forefront in running a modern workshop. All of our waste including oil, antifreeze, brake fluid and oil filters to name a few, is disposed of through registered carriers.
Our quality control programme is constantly monitored, and being part of the Bosch Car Service network we are audited by the MVRA. Mystery shoppers in the form of problems vehicles present to us and telephone enquiries are part of the monitoring. Our legal and HSE responsibilities and obligations are monitored by Lawgistics.

Our investment in staff training and equipment is helping us grow in line with vehicle advances and customer expectations to provide the highest quality service to our customers and vehicles for many years to come.
